10/1/20 — Uncharted has officially reached Year Two of its IC timeline! Thank you all so much for joining us on this wonderful journey. In addition, be sure to investigate Atollon and Umbram, the two new herds available for your characters to be a member of.

9/14/20 — Claimable Territories have been unlocked! There is one land available for claim currently. Check out the prompt here! In addition, be sure to review the guidebook for new information regarding herds and ranks.

8/6/20 — 'Of the Year' Nominations have now been unlocked! You can find the current nomination thread here. Nominations will remain open until September 23rd. Make sure to get your nominations in before then! Happy exploring!

8/1/20 — Autumn is upon us and with it, Gem Mining! This is a great chance to earn some extra Gems to unlock all of those Unlockables you've been eyeballing, so don't miss out. It will run the duration of Autumn. Be sure to read all of the guidelines posted to ensure you receive the most Gems possible.

7/17/20 — Here's a bulky update for you, my loves: Relationship Requests can now be sent out via your User CP, Realistic Companions are unlocked and can be added to your profile via this form, a new Unlockable is now available, Completed Threads can now be used to redeem additional Gems, and Kirins have now been unlocked! 7/8/20 — Prosfora Meadows overflows with life, and now as we reach our 1 Month mark, a new territory has become available! Find the Discover prompt on the new Uncharted board, and give us your best! ♥ Happy exploring!

7/7/20 — Welcome Wayfinders to Uncharted’s new site! All previous threads on Uncharted’s Jcink board have been transferred over, including the account’s submitted to the Squad! Everything is as it should be (with a few, fancy new improvements)! All OOC accounts must resubmit an OOC Application to be accepted, and Character accounts that have already been accepted on the Jcink board must submit the application labeled Rejoining Character!

PLEASE NOTE: if you see anything amiss, such as white boxes/post boxes on site, labels/icons oddly placed, or anything else please delete your browser’s cache and refresh that site before posting in the Bug Reports thread on discord!

7/5/20 — The results are in Wayfinders! The Unlockable that has been chosen by the community to be unlocked is Immortality! Pre-existing and new characters can now have Immortality applied to them if you so choose. To read more about Immortality and what you need to do in regards to your character’s age please head over to the Characters and Joining tab in the Compendium.

A new asset icon has also been added to the Character Assets thread to represent Immortality. Feel free to add the Immortality icon to your character’s assets on their profile to let other Wayfinders know your character is immortal!

7/2/20 — We have officially unlocked our first Unlockable! Thank you everyone who contributed to unlocking Personal Effects! Personal Effects can now be applied to pre-existing characters and new characters can join with them! Free of charge! To learn more about Personal Effects please head over to the Characters and Joining page in the compendium. When detailing your Personal Effects please do so either in the “Appearance” or “Other” section of your character’s profile!

We also have a new feature on the site that allows you to show off what your character has (such as an outfit, sorcery, etc) on their mini-profile above their posts! To learn more about how to set this up for your character please head over to the Character Assets thread!

Also, be sure to vote for what Unlockable you'd like made available to the community!

6/25/20 — To celebrate our third week since opening, Uncharted is hosting an Advertisement Contest. With ample opportunity for gem rewards, and the chance to unlock one Unlockable gem-free at the end of the contest, we hope this is a fun way to bring in some new faces. Welcome, everyone!

6/9/20 — Uncharted has officially opened to the public! Please read through Uncharted’s compendium to become familiar with Uncharted’s rules and how Uncharted works in general! Once you have, feel free to reach out to the Squad on our site's discord server if you have any questions. Welcome new wanderers!

10/1/20 — Spring has returned, and with it comes the second year of Uncharted's existence. Much has changed within the land, with plenty of new realms for your characters to discover, and, potentially, new places to call their home.

9/20/20 — The Kingdom of Atollon has been discovered by Kira. To celebrate the new Kingdom, native peoples discovered with the island realm are hosting a festival that all are invited to.

Additionally, the realm of Umbram has been unearthed by its new sovereigns, Castalla and Wolfram. The kingdom is hosting a Masquerade ball to celebrate their founding.

9/1/20 — With autumn now past, Esmeda Forest has disappeared as mysteriously as it came, leaving behind only the gems that were taken and a wreath of impenetrable mist in its place. Winter has come now, seizing the strange land in a chill that grows icier by the day.

8/2/20 — Uncharted stirs.

With Autumn comes an imperceptible change in the world's underlying sorcery. The fabric of reality begins to fray and to the south of Prosfora Meadows, where nothing had once laid, grows a rainforest. Plucked from the not-so-distant memory of @Galahad, unseen forces bring this land to brief fruition and instill a sudden curiosity into the minds of its inhabitants to go south. Those who heed this desire to explore find Esmeda Forest and the opportunity for riches...

8/1/20 — Fall has arrived to Uncharted. The heat has made a steep decline, and some leaves have begun to creep into a wide variety of harvest colors. Fog often greets the morning, and the sun sets considerably earlier come dusk.

7/24/20 — The fog that lines the Northern border of Prosfora Meadows begins to ebb one morning; unfurling like a dark curtain, its wreaths of smoke dragging nails over the bed of flowers as, with heaving reluctance, it loosens its hold upon the earth, pressured by the prying eyes that scour its fading grip.

And one dream, one preternatural vision, takes purchase. In the form of a dilapidated village, wreathed in the permafrost of decay and lined with the rubble, the ruin, of a people long lost…

7/8/20 — Uncharted expands just as it had begun ─ silently, without warning, giving no indication to its residents that it has decided to create existence beyond the supernatural embrace of Prosfora Meadows' treeline. In one moment, nothing lies beyond the silent forest sentinels, and in the next...

7/1/20 — Summer is here! Temperatures within the meadow have begun to spike, although the mild nature of Prosfora is just enough to stave off intense heat. Still, the winding river of Ilikos looks mighty appealing.

Meanwhile, the Leopectas that emerged in Dyo have gone into hiding, other than the small few that made off with new friends...

6/19/20 — Small creatures have crawled out of the nooks and crannies of Dyo, summoned by the sound of equines arriving to the waking land. Maybe, if you find one, they'll stay around for a while...

6/9/20 — It’s unknown how Uncharted came into being. It simply did not exist ─ until it did. It was borne of no Godly whim or supernatural entity. It bears no scars of past war or strife. It simply exists.

Those who find Uncharted do not generally find it intentionally. They are teleported from past lives or from beyond the grave. Perhaps they wandered too far into the forest and suddenly found themselves in a new world. There are no distinct portals or entrances, but one thing is for certain:

It cannot be found on any map.
