GREEN EYES - LONG HAIR - PAINTED COAT
A mare who is not easily missed, she is one that sticks out like a sore thumb among the greys and whites of the mountaintops. Her coat, a rich collaboration of browns and tans, is painted with white and soft dun stripes. It is thick and soft, grown for protection against the mountain's cold wrath. Her eyes are a bright olive green, shimmering with emotion. Her build is that of a regal being, but still with a hint of class. While she is of thick bone and a stocky build, her legs are long and her form well postured. She has a high-set tail that flows like a banner; a neatly arched neck and pricked ears. Her eyes are bright and lively and face a perfectly straight profile. She has long flowing hair that is never not brushed and kept clean. Her hair travels the length of her back, tail long enough to touch the ground.
Her hooves are cloven and sturdy, giving her excellent agility and traction, cloven as a unicorn's hooves should be. Two large ram-like horns sprout from her crown, natural in color. Additionally, her front hooves have small, protruding horns attached to her fetlocks.
UNCOMPLICATED - SOPHISTICATED - CURIOUS
An open book, so to speak, Myrle grew up in a culture where it was not unheard of to know one's life story before you meet them. She is not a complicated being; very often, what you see is what you get. While she is friendly enough to not be combative, there is a deep-rooted mistrust for others due to her past. While you may know her from the stories and the whispers, that does not mean she necessarily happy with such. To get her to warm up and share more than just the gossip, it is truly an uphill battle.Despite her loud presence, Myrle is a rather quite mare who prefers to keep to herself and out of the spotlight. While she is happy among friends and those who may one day be a friend- she is even happier when she is among nature with a good book and peace and quiet. However, this does not mean she is not a social being- she wants nothing more than a good friend who will join her in such endeavor... It is just tricky finding one she can trust.
But she is a loyal one; never one to turn her back on those she has deemed worthy enough to let in. While she is no fighter, she will still do her best to protect her loved ones at all cost, even if it means her own downfall. She is a mare who prefers to lift others up, and to remain unseen. While she may help others with their problems, she struggles to ask for help of her own... not wanting to be a burden... and afraid of the consequences if she is.
Despite her rather regal and wild look, Myrle was raised in a home of sophistication and respect, and she will act as such. She is witty and well-read, always happy to engage intelligent conversation. She is polite even if she does not necessarily want to be, and more often that not, will take the high road. This allows her to be taken advantage of, especially in a new, wild land without the protection of her kingdom. She is, perhaps, a little naïve to the lands outside of her own.
Her magic was Myrle's main source of energy, and since it has been suppressed, she has found herself to be not as lively as she once was. Slow, perhaps a little tired and dull, and short with her temper, she does not mean to be as such, but she can not help it. Now that her magic has been slowly seeping out from its cage, she is finding her spirit is returning once more, but it is a slow process that may take years for her to find herself again.
ESNOARIA
The daughter of wind and stone herself, brought upon the world after two older sisters. It was a cold and stormy night that she was born, odd for the rather placid climate that was known to the kingdom of Esnoaria. It would soon come to light that the girl shared the power of wind from her father, a fact that was of high pride throughout the family. Her childhood was certainly not something to write home about. It was easy, shadowed under the accomplishments of her older sisters. While they created names for themselves, Myrle herself dove into her studies. While she was interested in all subjects, she truly found herself honing in on the nature of space and the stars above... as well as nature and animals.
However, she could not hide in the library forever. Her culture was one that was very... involved, and it was not long before her parents were pushing her out to meet more people and socialize. She hated every moment of it, but she did the best she could to keep her parents happy.
It was then that she learned to escape into the woods, an odd sight to see at such heights of the mountains, but was brought by earth magic holders. While they did not have many animals, there were certainly birds and small mammals. It was during one of her escapes that she came across a winged arctic fox, obviously injured and left behind to fall to the unforgiving hand of nature herself.
Naming the small fox Winnow, Myrle brought the creature home and nursed her back to health with the help of her many books. While pets were not a common sight in Esnoaria, the pair bonded instantly and have been inseparable since.
But as time went on and Myrle and her sisters grew, her time to be young and carefree were coming to an end. Her sisters married off one by one, leaving Myrle without competition for her parents attention. As the empty nest started to settle in, her mother especially became increasingly smothering.
Myrle was to grow up. She was to socialize and find a husband. She was to fall to the system of society and there was nothing she could do about it.
In a fit of defiance, she tried to escape, but permanently this time. Her magic had been growing stronger over the years, and she had learned to teleport short distances through the clouds of a storm. Her parents caught her mid attempt, quickly whisking her off to the closest magic sealer to contain her magic and ground her to Esnoaria.
The next step was to find a suitor. If Myrle would not pick one for herself, her parents would do it for her.
There were many possible suitors from many neighboring kingdoms, and her parents (especially her mother) were not shy about parading the poor girl around for each one. Eventually, they settled on a handsome grey stallion by the name of Ryukotsusei from the kingdom Fujing.
Arrangements were made quickly, the pair only having time to meet a few times before the wedding. While celebrations were held in Myrle's home, the wedding itself was in Fujing, a demand from Myrle herself as to not have the entire kingdom in their wake. Unknown to her parents, Myrle found herself falling in love with the culture and nature of Fujing, but had no choice but to return home after the wedding.
Despite seeming complacent, Myrle was anything but.
She could argue that she was not in her right frame of mind... but secrets slipped to ears that were not supposed to hear them. A neighboring nation, already not on the best of terms with Esnoaria, and hurt that they had not chosen their offering to be their daughter's groom.
Months later, an invasion roared through the kingdom, late at night under the false lights of Esnoaria. What become of the people are unknown, as Myrle and Ryukotsusei were quick to escape. They were on route to Fujing, ready to call for help, before a force plucked them from their journey and spat them out onto a meadow of green grass and colorful flowers...

AIR MANIPULATION
It is thought that Myrle's hair is weightless. It ever so slightly floats around her as if she is under water, though perhaps it is not that weightless. It is nothing but wispy, often tangling in her horns or her legs.Additionally, the air around her may feel a little... breezy, no matter the current weather. It is not much- one may not notice if they are not paying attention, but just listen as the leaves rustle as she passes and the grass shifts like a snake beneath her hooves.
Her magic is one that is more connected than one may think, as she draws energy from the world around her. The ability to manipulate air comes with the ability to create strong winds, some storms (tornados, especially), and change the temperature in the air. Equally, she has the ability to manipulate oxygen- store some in her own body to allow her to stay under water for longer than most, go to higher mountain tops than most, and even snuff out the oxygen of another individual if she tries hard enough (though, this is incredibly dangerous and exhausting for her, so she must use it sparingly). She is able to share this, but only with few equine at a time, and her own supply is limited during such actions.
There was a time when she was able to teleport through wind/storms as well, but it is highly unlikely that this aspect will return without the use of a secondary magic. More so, her magic was cut off by her family, and has been long without use. While they claim to have ceased only her magic, it is her soul that dwindled as well. Now, locked away from who she truly is, Myrle wants nothing more but to break the lock on her magic and grow it to where it once was.
Now, in the land of Uncharted, it is slowly seeping back, but it is ever so weak. Constant use will leave her exhausted, sucking energy from her very soul rather than the magic in her veins. If she is not careful, she will quickly deteriorate. Highly connected to her emotions, this is a magic that is very easy to lose control of, and can become dangerous if not constantly in check.
