White marks three of her four legs, along the crest of her neck, her flanks, and her wings. Her mane and tail are both primarily a dark, almost black, blue in color. Her mane is marked with white, and woven amongst the strands are silver trinkets, rings, stars, and so on. They offer a glimmer of reflected light to catch one’s eye. Her tail is similar to a leonine one, with her wings attaching down at the base of her tail and her hindquarters, slimming down to a flowing tuft of hair, also that dark, nearly black, blue color. Her tail his marked with white, and the tips of the tuft are that lighter blue color.

A white blaze bisects her face, laying between eyes which are so pale a blue they are nearly white. Her ears are adorned with silver piercings, as is her front right leg with a silver bracelet. Strands of silver twine in with the hair of her mane and tail, though it is unclear if the strands are natural or have been interwoven there themselves. Her most notable feature, arguably, however, would be her massive draconic wings. They are massive, far larger than she is, and harken to her dragon form, with opposable joints that function similarly to the wings of wyverns. Primarily a deep blue in color, they are marked with lighter blue, white, and further silver adornments. As large as they are, oftentimes they nearly drag against the ground, and have been known to serve as additional balance and even weapons in times of combat.

Ever present too is the mystical miasma of smoke, or fog, perhaps, though neither aptly describes the cloud that lingers about her. Eerie in appearance, with flickers of light as though her own personal storm trails her steps, whisps of glowing light trailing her eyes, her hooves. Fortunately this eerie effect does no harm, and at most is occasionally felt as a light brush of cold, similar to the kiss of snowflakes on one’s flanks.

She seeks glory, as most in her clan do, for they strive to be granted entrance into the legendary hall of corpses, the revered afterlife for her warrior clan. She thrives in conflict, itches to solve problems through brute force, and doesn’t tend to have a lot of patience to spare for what she sees as petty squabbles and pointless chatter. Valhalla doesn’t waste her time with falsities or sugar-coated truths. She will be brutally honest, and at times her sharp wit makes for uncomfortable conversations. As fierce as she can be, that is fueled by the sheer passion she embodies. A lust for life and the thrill of adrenaline, she loves living life to the fullest, and doesn’t fear death, as perhaps some might.

Some may call her cruel, calloused, ice-cold, but if one looks closely enough, they may realize that those accusing her of such behavior tend to only know her as she presents herself to those who haven’t yet earned her trust. She can be sarcastic, teasing, and truly cares for her clan. No matter whether they get along generally or not, her clan is her family and though she may disagree with them, or be annoyed by them, she would readily lay down her life for them. As protective as she can be, it should come of little surprise that she is also rather possessive of those she considers her own. Be it items or companions, she doesn’t like to share her toys so to speak. Once you earn her trust and her love, you’ll have little to fear from most threats, for you’ll have a dragon at your side.

• Born to the ruling alpha pair of the clan shortly after the Divine War quieted down, and the clan appeared to be in a position of better prosperity to support a new generation.
• Came from a long line of dragon shifters; every leader of the clan has been a dragon shifter.
• Was raised amongst the other children of the clan, held to a higher standard and pushed harder than the rest.
• Was blooded (first kill) at the tender age of ten, when her parents were slain in a war between neighboring clans.
• Her parents’ closest advisor/ally took over as leader of the clan as Valhalla was allowed the chance to mature further in her training, capabilities and leadership.
• Her clan remained primarily neutral in all affairs unless given no other option, or if there was something to be gained for the clan’s interests.
• Made a name for herself on the battlefield as a fearsome opponent, not necessarily a warrior who always won every battle, but as a warrior who fought with honor, ferocity, and a passion not oft seen.
• The aging king of the clan died as a result of skirmishing and warring from King Mammon of the Furiae’s attack on mortal and immortal realms alike.
• Valhalla had no interest in ruling and thus appointed another to serve in her stead while she led the clan in warring, exploring, and other such ventures.
• Served as a focal point in many alliances and truces between clans, as well as in turning the tides in conflicts which held some form of interest to her clan.
• With the formation of the alliance of shifters that came to reside in Nightfall in the tenth age, Valhalla’s clan was formidable enough and solid enough that they were able to acknowledge, but not bow down to the rulers.
• Concerned by the current leader’s views on the tenuous balance between Nightfall and their clan, Valhalla returned home to claim a position that was hers by birthright in order to protect her clan and their future.
• When the mortal realms were solidified into what many now acknowledge as the five major kingdoms, the clan’s home was named Kalusca, a cold, hard land, home to fierce folk.
• In the last century or so, under the terror and persecution instituted following the assassination of the tyrant-king, Valhalla ensconced her clan within the mountains and most uninhabitable terrain so as to protect them and their way of living.
• Due to this sense of isolation, many have come to believe they no longer exist.

Shifting generally comes easily and painlessly, though depending on her energy levels before her shift, it can become more drawn out and painful if she pushes herself too far. There is still the potential for her to shift under duress, but her threshold is higher than ever before, and may be mitigated by partially shifting. Less taxing, but with lingering effects.
