Light gray fade and speckling along spine and down flanks.
Faint, light gray speckling across his face.
A short, coarse white mane running down from between his antlers to the middle of his shoulderblades.
Dark bluish-gray 'socks' up all four limbs; hind legs are symmetrical, while the one on his left foreleg is much shorter than his right.
Light pinkish-orange eyes that are stark against his otherwise blue palette.
Often wears a leather cloak that ties in the front with a thin leather cord. It has a hood with slits in either side to fit around his antlers and ears. It fastens just underneath each ear via buttons.
Though they are rarely actually worn at the moment, he has a pair of aviator goggles either hung around his neck or hooked onto one of the points of his antlers. They are made of leather and some kind of metal, with rivets around the lenses.
His antlers are made from ice; they seem like they should be luminescent but aren't, and are translucent blue. They break occasionally and do grow back, so rarely are they the same size or very symmetrical in appearance.
Upon first impressions, Remian seems quite calm and collected - maybe even a bit of an airhead. He's warm and friendly, subverting the standard expectations of an ice wielder without much forethought. He lacks a lot of that actually, acting on whims and flights of fancy with little concern for the opinions of the outside world. Having barely lived a quarter of a mortal lifetime, he's a 'new' immortal who doesn't (or chooses not to) understand the gravity of his endlessness. It lends to a certain naivete... though it's difficult to tell when he's simply playing up his ignorance for his own reasons. His sorcery can easily go haywire with his emotions, which may be the reason he does his best to keep them in check. But, it's impossible to hide everything, and the sprite becomes easy to read with enough observation - be it through gentle snow flurries or a sudden, sharp chill.
He doesn't remember where he came from, just that there was snow and ice and then he simply was. Mythology dictates that sprites are elemental beings, a sort of fae - and fae are sometimes believed to be the spirits of those that led "unfinished lives". Remian does believe he was mortal, once; but it wasn't for a very long time, and he isn't sure what leads him to think this way. He's certainly not dead now, and maybe he never was or simply came very close to it. He can recall snippets of a dream he used to have in his youth, flashes of a cavern in the winter, the rumble of rocks and tumbling shadows. The silhouette of a small fawn curled up deep in the cold dark labyrinth. He can feel a distinct numbness in his body, the pain of a broken limb, the blurring of consciousness... then, he wakes.
Primary: Ice Magic
Remian is able to conjure and manipulate ice with relative ease and has a steady grasp on the limitations of his magic. This includes abilities such as changing the weather in his very immediate vicinity, encasing things in ice, freezing water on contact, and flinging shards with telekinesis as a form of self-defense. He can also regrow his ice antlers whenever they break off, which happens more or less frequently depending on the season. Winter weather means ice and snow are abundant, and he can use his magic far more efficiently.
-- Weaknesses
i. Physical/Emotional Strain: While his powers may be stronger under great emotional duress, they are also difficult to control and make him into quite the hazard, more to himself than anything else. Prolonged use of his abilities also takes a toll on Remian's body despite his natural resilience to the cold - the tips of his fur will frost, and his body temperature will drop drastically. These are warning signs, and if he continues to push himself beyond his limit he can absolutely experience symptoms of hypothermia or even just pass out.
ii. Environmental Factors: It isn't surprising that hot weather hinders Remian's magical ability to varying degrees. It takes more and more effort for him to conjure the higher the temperatures go, and he is generally more sluggish and weak overall during warmer seasons.
iii. Fire:
It melts ice. Remian finds this pretty inconvenient.
